Pre-Purchase Building Inspections in Ringwood

Buying in Ringwood? A building inspection is a practical way to understand the condition of the property before you go ahead.

Ringwood has a broad mix of homes, from older brick houses and post-war properties through to renovated family homes, units, townhouses and newer apartment developments closer to Eastland and Ringwood Station. Some homes have been updated over time, while others may still have original roofing, drainage, subfloor or ventilation issues that are not obvious during an open inspection.

At Bear Bottom Inspections, we take the time to check the property properly and give you a clear report on what we find. That can include structural movement, moisture problems, roof wear, poor drainage, visible pest damage, ageing building materials or defects from past renovation work.

The aim is simple – to help you understand what you are buying before you commit. Whether the report gives you peace of mind, helps with negotiation, or raises concerns you need to think through, you will have clearer information before making your next move.

They provided a thorough inspection report, that cover all accessible sections of the house. The level of detail was great, and the report included some recommended 'next steps' for some particular items.

They were also really responsive and flexible. We requested an inspection that morning, and it was completed by midday the same day! The report was then in our inbox that evening.

Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend Bear Bottoms! This was my first time getting a building and pest inspection and they made the whole experience so easy and reassuring.

The inspector was incredibly thorough and took the time to call afterwards to walk through everything he had found which I really appreciated. There’s a genuine human touch to the way they work, everyone I dealt with was friendly, approachable and happy to answer questions.

I also needed the inspection done quite quickly and they were so accommodating and managed to arrange it for me at short notice. Communication was excellent and the team responded really quickly throughout the whole process.

Such a great experience, especially as a first-time buyer navigating all of this for the first time. The process of purchasing a home can be overwhelming and the Bear Bottoms team made it so much easier. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Bear Bottoms again and would highly recommend them to anyone needing a building and pest inspection
